Bernie Sanders Speaks at Liberty University

Bernie Sanders has become a popular candidate among young adult voters. And his most recent event at the conservative Liberty University on September 14 continued the upward trend.

SIMPSON: Bernie Sanders is a presidential candidate for the 2016 election. He has been consistently gaining support from the young adult voters.

SIMPSON: And On September 14th he spoke at the conservative Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where he voiced his opinion on abortion and his support for gay rights.

SANDERS: I believe in women rights and in the right for a woman to control her own body, I believe in gay rights and gay marriage.

SIMPSON: He continues to state that it is vitally important for people that hold different views to engage in civil discourse
